This drinking game is no different the other drinking games in the TV and Movies sections on our site, except that you get to drink and make light of serious situations. Watch the 2006 State of the Union Address by the president of the United States and follow the drinking rules below.

Some of the drinking rules below are generic State of the Union rules that can be applied to just about any address. Other rules are specific to George W. Bush's address in 2006.

1. Take 1 drink every time the words, "freedom" "liberty" or "justice are spoken
   
2. Take 1 drink when G.W. says, "Tax Relief"
   
3. Take 1 drink when Bush says, "Affordable Health Care"
   
4. Whenever GW mentions the tragic event of 9/11, the last person to stand and salute takes 3 drinks
   
5. If George Bush says, "Al Qaeda is calling you and we want to know why." the last person to get out their cell phone and hold it to their ear takes 3 drinks
   
6. Take 6 drinks anytime Bush makes up a word like "deteriorize" or "stategerie"
   
7. Before the address starts, try to predict the number of applause breaks. The closest guess get to choose a shot for everyone else to take.
   
8. Take 1 drink when GW says any of the following:
   - Hard work
   - nukular
   - fiscal discipline
   - Scooter Libby
   - New Orleans
   

There are several other rules that you might want to consider when playing this drinking game, but the ones mentioned above are more than enough to get you trashed throughout the game. Have fun and please drink responsibly.
