If you liked playing chutes and ladders as a child you are going to like the game even more now as an adult. The drinking game variation is simple. If you are lucky in the game and you get to go up a ladder, you get to tell people to drink. If you have to go down a chute then you have to drink.

To play this game, first go out and purchase Chutes & Ladders the board game if you don’t already own it. Get familiar with the rules of the game because those are actually going to stay the same. To play the drinking game, follows these additional rules:

1. Whenever you go UP a ladder, count the number of squares OVER and UP in the shape of an L that you moved. Pass out that many drinks or sips of beer to other players.


2. Whenever you go down a chute, count the number of squares OVER and DOWN in the shape of an L that you moved. Drink that number of sips yourself


3. If you are playing the game with Dice, and the dice happen to roll off the table, go ahead and take drink


4. If you are playing a new version of the game with a spinner, and the spinner gets stuck in between two numbers, go ahead and finish your beer and learn how to spin better next time.

As an added twist to drink more while playing, add the following rules:

5. Girls drink every time a picture of a girl is landed on


6. Guys drink every time a picture of a guy is landing on

Feel free to add more rules to the game as well. For example, guys drink on even spaces and girls drink on odd spaces.
