Summary
Guess the total number of quarters in the circle. If you’re correct, you will be safe. If you are the last one to guess correctly, you must down the pint glass in the center. So the object of the drinking is to not lose.
Rules
To play this drinking game, place an empty pint glass in the center of the table and give each player 3 quarter, and their drink of choice. Then follow the rules below:
- Each player pours some of their drink into the pint glass.
- All players then place their hands behind their backs with their 3 quarters.
- Each player then brings out either 0, 1, 2, or 3 quarters in a closed fist
- Players then take turns guessing the total number of quarters in play
- No two guesses in the same round can be the same.
- The player that guesses correctly wins the round, and sits out for the rest of the game.
- The remaining players again pour into the pint glass and repeat the game steps.
- The last player remaining… the one who never won… must chug the pint glass.
To clarify for you on the quarter guessing part, if there are 5 players playing the game, there will be 15 total quarters, because each player has 3 quarters. However, when each player puts the quarters behind their back, they can choose to bring out none of their quarters, or 1, 2, or 3 of them. Since all players are doing the same, there should always end up with a random number of quarters in closed fists, and the guessing is purely luck.
Have Fun.
