The pyramid drinking game is a game of luck. The luckier you are, the less you will have to drink. If you are unlucky and you the choose the wrong cards, you will end up drinking a lot until your luck changes. Follow the rules below to play the game.

To play the Pyramid Card Drinking Game, get a few people, a deck of cards, and some drinks, and then follow the rules and setup instructions below:

1. Create a pyramid with 10 cards face down on a table (Use 5 Cards for the base)
   
2. On your turn, flip over one card at a time working your way to the top of the pyramid
   
3. If you flip a 2 though 9, you’re safe and flip another card on the next row
   
4. If you flip a 10, your safe but you have to take 1 drink
   
5. If you flip a face card or ace, you have to start all over again and replace the missing cards
   (Also, Jack = 2 drinks, Queen = 3 drinks, King = 4 Drinks, Ace = 5 drinks)
   
6. Remember, your turn doesn’t end until you make it to the top of the pyramid without flipping a face card.
   
7. The cards should be shuffled repeatedly as well
   

The game is simple but can get frustrating when you flip a face card several turns in a row and have to drink and start over. We were playing the other night and a bunch of people got all the way to the top just to flip an Ace! You have to prep people ahead of time that they are not allowed to quit.
