Summary
We have no idea why this drinking game is called Roxbury Roll, but it’s a fun game that requires you to drink for a certain amount of time based on your roll. Watch out for doubles though because you’ll have to drink twice as long.
Rules
Sit in a circle around a flat surface or table. Starting with player 1, game play proceeds clockwise.
- Player 1 rolls the dice.
- The number on the dice represents seconds
- So if an 8 is rolled, that equals 8 seconds of drinking
- The person to the right of the roller drinks for that amount of seconds
- If the rolls has doubles in it, like 1:1, 2:2, 3:3, etc, the roller also drinks
- Player 2 then rolls the dice
- Same rules apply except with the following twist:
If the roll matches the previous roll, the roller drinks double the amt. of time
- For example if 8 is rolled again, the person to the right drinks 8 but the roller drinks 16.
Additional rules can be added to the game if you’re up for it. For example if the dice happen to fall off the table, the roller drinks triple whatever is showing on the dice on the floor. If someone picks up the dice without looking, the roller is off the hook, but the idiot who picked them up then has to roll and drink triple the time shown on the dice.
