Summary
This coin drinking game is a mix between the card game old maid, and the coin game heads up. Essentially, you throw all the coins on the ground. Other players drink for any coins that are facing heads up.
Rules
This game works better with a small number of people, unless you modify the rules so that everyone besides the thrower drinks each time. You decide. Here’s how you play:
- Game play is sequential, from one player to the next
- The player to go first picks up all the quarters
- He shakes them and throws them on the ground
- The next player in line takes a shot of beer for any coin head’s up
- The thrower takes a shot of beer for any two coins that are touching
- After all shots have been taken, you repeat the process with a new thrower
Some other fun versions of this drinking game start with just one coin, and one additional coin is added each round. You can also play either of these versions on a table, using a plastic cup to put the coins in and slam it upside down. Just forget about the rule that requires the thrower to drink when quarters are touching.
