Summary
The Tex Mex drinking game is about not losing. You don’t have to win, but you certainly don’t want to lose. Everyone rolls the dice, and the person with the lowest roll drinks the cup in the center of the table.
Rules
All players sit in a circle around a table and place a plastic cup in the center. The cup is empty at the start of the game, but is filled up by players as they roll. Follow the drinking game instructions below:
- Player 1 rolls the two dice
- The object is the get the highest roll possible, with 12 (6:6) being the highest.
- If doubles are rolled, the roller can decide to roll again if they want.
- This is helpful if a (1:1) or a (2:2) is rolled for example.
- Player 1 then pours some of their beer into the cup in the center
- The dice are passed around to all players who follow the same rules.
- The person with the lowest roll after everyone has rolled drinks the cup in the center.
There is a small bit of strategy in this game of course. If you see that you have high roll, go ahead and fill up the cup a lot. But if your roll is low and you might have to drink the cup, you’re not going to want to pour in a whole lot.
