Summary
The Tug of War Drinking Game is a type of Beer Pong game where the cups are lined up in a straight line similar to a tug-of-war. Players on opposite teams attempt to shoot a ping pong ball into their opponent's cups, working their way to the center cup. Follow the official GroupDrink Rules below.
Rules
Setup instructions to play this game are as follows:
- Place 7 plastic cups in a straight line on a table
- Fill each cup with beer
- Each team should have 1 or 2 people
- Each person gets 2 ping pong balls
The game is meant to played rapid fire style, so both teams can shoot at the same time. It is best to play with a referee since it can get hard to see who threw which ball. Please drink responsibly.
- Place 7 plastic cups in a straight line on a table
- Fill each cup with beer
- Each team should have 1 or 2 people
- Each person gets 2 ping pong balls
- Each team shoots their balls into the opponents cups
- You must start with the cup farthest away and work your way to the center
- If you hit the center cup on accident before the other cups are gone, you get a one cup penalty
- If you hit your own cup, you must drink the beer but refill the cup
- The first team to get to the center and make it wins the game
